Wondering what’s new for Nissan in 2023? Well, we’re here to tell you! For 2023, Nissan refreshes both the Nissan Altima and the Nissan LEAF, and introduces the all-new electric crossover Nissan Ariya, the seventh-generation Nissan Z, and the new, more rugged Pathfinder Rock Creek! Read on to learn more about what each model offers as well as what’s new for model year 2023!
2023 Nissan Altima
Let’s start with the 2023 Nissan Altima. The 2023 Altima provides an outstanding level of advanced technology, including available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, ProPILOT Assist and standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 technologies. The Altima offers to customers two available powertrain options with fuel economy rated up to 39 mpg highway. The pricing of the 2023 Altima will be announced closer to the on-sale date, which is coming up this fall. For model year 2023, the Nissan Altima has a refreshed front fascia design with an updated expression of the Nissan V-Motion grille and a new brand logo! Standard on the Altima SL and SR VC-Turbo trim levels and available on the SV is a new12.3-inch HD color display. There are also four new aluminum-alloy wheel designs and two additional available exterior colors:
- Gray Sky Pearl
- Garnett Pearl Metallic
Lastly, the instrument panel finishings have been revised and the SR models have a new dual-stitch interior fabric design!
2023 Nissan Ariya
Next, let’s move on to the all-new 2023 Nissan Ariya! The 2023 Nissan Ariya is an all-new, all-electric crossover that combines cutting-edge design, powerful electric mobility, and the latest in Nissan's technology. An EPA-estimated driving range of up to 304 miles (Venture+ model) satisfies a variety of drivers' needs, from daily commuting to road trips! Also, available e-4ORCE all-wheel drive uses twin electric motors to help enhance driver confidence on almost all road surfaces. The 2023 Nissan Ariya has a host of advanced technology, including standard ProPILOT Assist with available ProPILOT Assist 2.04 that enables attentive drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel under certain driving conditions, as well as available ProPILOT Park5, which takes over steering, acceleration, braking, and gear shifting to guide the Ariya into a parking spot! Pricing for the 2023 Nissan Ariya is to be announced closer to the on-sale date, which is also coming up this fall.
2023 Nissan Leaf
Moving on, the all-electric Nissan LEAF continues to play a key role in accelerating Nissan’s shift to electrification with new aluminum-alloy wheels and a refreshed exterior treatment for model year 2023! The LEAF has an EPA estimated battery range of up to 149 miles (LEAF S with 40 kWh battery) or up to 212 miles (LEAF SV PLUS with 60 kWh battery). Prices start at $27,800 and qualified purchasers may be eligible for potential federal tax credit of up to 7,500. On sale now, the 2023 Nissan LEAF has a streamlined grade level lineup consisting exclusively of S and SV PLUS models, reflecting the most-requested consumer features. For 2023, the LEAF has a refreshed exterior design that consists of an enhanced front grille, bumper molding, and headlights. The 2023 LEAF features a new Nissan brand logo inside and out, including an illuminated front exterior badge! Also, in order to improve aerodynamics, the shapes of the tire deflectors at all four corners, rear under diffuser and rear spoiler have been modified. Standard on the LEAF SV PLUS is a new 17-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheel.
Inside the 2023 LEAF, there is new black cloth seating upholstery with gray finishers on the S trim level or gloss black finishers on the SV PLUS.
2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Edition
Next, let’s look at the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek! The Pathfinder Rock Creek, designed for customers seeking more capability and adventure, adds off-road-inspired styling and engineering enhancements to the Pathfinder's everyday comfort and convenience. Visual appeal and differentiation are achieved for the Pathfinder Rock Creek courtesy of an exclusive front fascia design, Rock Creek badging, and orange interior contrast stitching. In keeping with its more rugged mission, the Pathfinder Rock Creek is offered only with four-wheel drive. The fuel economy and pricing of the Pathfinder Rock Creek is to be announced closer to on-sale date, which is in late summer 2022. For model year 2023, the Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek has off-road-tuned suspension, featuring a 5/8-inch lift compared to the standard Pathfinder, plus 18-inch beadlock-style wheels featuring all-terrain tires! And revised fuel mapping allows for increased available horsepower and torque of 295 hp and 270 Ib-ft, when using premium fuel. Other new features included with the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek are:
- A standard tubular roof rack with up to 220-Ib.-load capacity
- Standard Intelligent Around View Monitor with Off-Road Mode
- LED fog lights
- Second-row captain's chairs
- Tow hitch receiver with harness
2023 Nissan Z
Finally, let’s talk about the 2023 Nissan Z! This seventh-generation Nissan Z raises the bar for the company's accessible sports car. Building on a more than 50-year heritage, the 2023 Nissan Z features significant enhancements in terms of design, equipment, and performance! A standard 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine offers 400 horsepower and 350 Ib-ft of torque. The 2023 Nissan Z is designed to blend "tradition with modern technology," by featuring classic sports-car proportions outside and modern tech in a driver-centric cockpit. Customers can choose from two trim levels:- Sport
- Performance
Each trim level has a choice of a 6-speed manual or new 9-speed automatic transmission. With prices starting at $39,900, the 2023 Nissan Z goes on sale in summer 2022!
